Roman Ruins
On the way to Fez, we got to stop and explore around some ancient Roman ruins. The city was controlled by the Romans, the Christian crusaders and then the Muslims.
Hi Anna - I'm sad I missed you this a.m. when you called. Thanks for posting new photos - it's so good to see you there. I can't imagine what Fez is like. Wikipedia says it's the home of the world's oldest (longest-running) university. I've memorized your truck # (JS29 ..) - man, you guys will be snug when new folks join? We love you - everybody has been asking how it's been for you. Have fun and be safe!
Looking great Anna! I've been working such long hours it's fun to catch up on your blog and see all the exciting things you are doing!!! LOVE your pics and the maps!!
Because of YOU I started talking to the international program at Peperdine. I just happened to sit next to the founder of the Africa program at our Christmas party.Tomorrow I'm going to introduce myself to the dean of international studies. It's just a start, but your trip has helped me be more forward about my dream of teaching outside of the country. We'll see... Love you sweetie! What's new today?
