Last Drive Day

We left that third bush camp at 4:30 in the morning for our early start to Cairo, our last day with Nala.

It was actually a beautiful drive along the coast until we had to turn inland. We stopped for lunch and had more "lasts". Last chopping of tomatoes and cucumbers, last laughing cow cheese, last washing up... I closed the kitchen lockers and that was that.

We had a few last photos with the old girl. Nala had been my home for 9 and 1/2 months and it was hard to say goodbye.

Us and Nala

Looking nice

Do something silly! So EVERYONE sticks their hands out. What's silly about that?

We got to Cairo and said goodbye when we left Nala in the Oasis workshop to get ready for next year's Trans. It's the ciiiiiiircle of liiiiiiiiiiiiiiife!!!
